Developing an urban preschool for the learning experience in Houston presented unique site challenges we designed a two story preschool with elevated play areas set along airline drive a corridor transitioning to the city’s goal for more walkable places. The buildings design focuses on window orientations to maximize interior light and energy. Efficiency parking is set behind the building to safely ease transitions of pick up and drop off for families the building celebrates moments of discovery for young learners with crafted vistas and windows set intentionally lower.
