Kido South Austin, located in the heart of 78704 sits across the river from Austin‘s burgeoning Tech skyline. We repurposed a historic Panadería, located in the middle of the eclectic neighborhood to serve as the home of this new preschool, where families are just as likely to stroll or bike to the campus as they are to drive. Two buildings measuring just under 9000 ft.² were reimagined as light filled integrated early education spaces Wrapping around an outdoor play courtyard, shaded by native Texas pecan trees.
