1023 Oxford St. represents a conversion of a historic bungalow duplex into a single-family home with a guest apartment in the rear. Working within the confines of the Houston historical development guidelines we were able to convert the duplex recapture attic space for an additional bedroom and add a primary suite and small plunge pool off of the back of the house. The guest apartment is located above a new garage structure with access from the alley. The project developers ended up being the owners and now occupy this quaint Heights home.
